Ok, so it's been a while since I've posted and a lot has changed. When I say a lot, I mean LOADS!!
We're no longer living in Melbourne, haven't been for almost 12 months. We're now back in our house in inner Newcastle, feels like home. Everything we use & do is right at our door step, which is also very dangerous when you don't feel like cooking. Beaumont Street is just a little bit to close but a girls gotta eat right?
Hubstar turned 30 last May, that was an awesome night to remember. He bought himself a mountain bike, as you do. *rolls eyes*
Kids started preschool first week of Feb, for those playing at home it's VIC 4yo kinder & QLD's Kinder. They're also turning 4 in May, never didn't I think these days would come. Drop off hasn't been easy but they never want to come home, go figure. Defiantly their fathers children.
I've done a complete 180 turn on my career. I'm now studying Event Management at TAFE which is freakishly awesome if I do say so myself. It's something I started almost 10 years ago (I feel so old saying that), 10 years I was about to turn 15!! My goodness.
Anyways back to my story, I started Event Management when I was 16, straight from year 11. Thought I knew everything & flunked that one. Now I'm back with ad vengeance & nothing will slow me down. I know A LOT more about the real world now & it won't hold me back.
Ummmm... What else had happened??
Oh! We got a puppy & a kitten all in the space of a month. Not my smartest move but what can ya do.
Oscar the puppy is another whippet. I can hear you all saying whip it, whip it good.
He's 7 months old & a total turd.
Kitty the kitten (totz original with names for her 😉) she's a little orange fur ball who is a demanding princess. Won't eat the food at the bottom of her bowl cause its touched the stainless. I mean really, what the?
We've gone back to renovating our house, we've painted the WHOLE house, mean everything. Never again!!
What else, I've decorated the kids rooms so they have some where to call their own. Started to do our room, I made a headboard but haven't mounted it yet. Story of my life, so many half finished projects. I keep saying ill finish it tomorrow, still waiting for tomorrow to come.
I know what else, friend of mine who is also a prem parent is hosting a trivia night in aid of Miracle Babies Foundation & hoping to raise $10k. If you don't know who miracle babies is, google them NOW! Such a worthy cause started by mums or prems. Trivia night is 9th March in Newcastle for anyone wondering. You can find links to ticket sales at www.facebook.com/belyndanicholeslondon2013
And if I didn't already have enough to so, I've taken on two rolls for multiple birth association at a state level.
I think that's everything...
Best of all, my birthday is in 11 days.
WOOT WOOT! 25 this year, 1/4 of the way to a century. Kinda excited.
Anyways, it's almost midnight. Was another one of those 'oh all just close my eyes for 5 minutes' afternoons, woke up 2 hours later. Whoops, so now I can't sleep. Not my brightest move.
Best attempt some sleep.
Catch ya
Krys xx
